Tucson Norte-Sur: Investing in Resilient Communities + Transit, Public Meetings May 16 - 18

We hope you can join us for Round 2 of our Open House meetings for Tucson Norte-Sur! See information on meeting dates and locations below, and please reach out if you have any questions!
Tucson Norte-Sur is a plan that will work with Tucson communities to identify opportunities for equitable reinvestment and access along a future 15-mile long North-South High Capacity Transit (HCT) corridor connecting the Tucson Mall on the northside to downtown Tucson and to the Tucson Airport on the southside. We need your input to understand what the community's vision is for the future of this corridor and ensure that new development reflects the culture, community, and sense of place found in the neighborhoods along the corridor.
May Open House Meeting Dates and Locations:
1. Monday, May 16, 6-8pm, Literacy Connects (North Side Open House), 200 E. Yavapai Rd
2. Tuesday, May 17, 6-8pm, YWCA House of Neighborly Service (City of South Tucson Open House), 243 W. 33rd St.
3. Wednesday, May 18, 6-8pm, Sunnyside High School Library (South Side Open House), 1725 E. Bilby Rd
I’ve attached the postcard (Spanish and English) with more information on those events. All materials will be in Spanish and English, and Spanish speakers will be at each event. Please spread the word! Each event will have light refreshments and snacks, and activities for kids.
